ESET Mobile Security for Symbian has been updated to v1.3.2 and now supports Symbian 3. ESET Mobile Security provides Symbian and Windows Mobile powered devices with anti-malware and anti-spam protection as well as anti-theft functionality, a security audit and a firewall. ESET Mobile Security replaces its predecessor, ESET Mobile Antivirus.

The new version is available in all released languages.

Changelog is as follows:

• Added support for Symbian 3 (Nokia devices only)
• Minor bugfixes and stability improvements

ESET Mobile Security Business Edition for Windows Mobile and Symbian v1.3.1885 (Windows Mobile) and v1.3.4 (Symbian) has been released to the general public.

The following is a list of key features:

• Remote management – Manage and update your corporate fleet of smartphones with the same unified management console you use to manage your desktop endpoints.
• Anti-theft – SIM matching and remote wipe features prevent unauthorized use of your smartphone and remotely deletes all confidential data on the device via a SMS command.
• On-demand security audit – Determine if your smartphone is configured in a potentially risky way so you can make adjustments to be as safe as possible.
• Schedule security audits – Schedule a silent periodic task so you can be alerted to any unauthorized changes to the configuration of your smartphone.
• Firewall – Select one of the predefined profiles or set up custom rules to manage incoming and outgoing communications.
• MMS and SMS antispam – Filters unwanted messages using a customizable blacklist and whitelist, so you only see messages from numbers you accept.
• ESET Remote Administrator configuration editor - Each mobile platform has its own section in the configuration editor.

Existing ESET Mobile Antivirus users can upgrade to ESET Mobile Security Business Edition for free. You must uninstall ESET Mobile Antivirus before downloading and installing ESET Mobile Security Business Edition.

• Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 or 2
• Symbian S60 5th Edition
