Default NY case underscores Wi-Fi privacy dangers

NY case underscores Wi-Fi privacy dangers.

Quote:
Lying on his family room floor with assault weapons trained on him, shouts of "pedophile!" and "pornographer!" stinging like his fresh cuts and bruises, the Buffalo homeowner didn't need long to figure out the reason for the early morning wake-up call from a swarm of federal agents.

A cautionary tale indeed! Secure your WiFi router from being an open wireless point of access to the Internet!

This is not even the worst of it. Imagine people being able to hack into your network and computers, sniffing your traffic and capturing your personal information. This to me is far scarier. I thought all new routers default to some kind of encryption. Hasn't this been standard for years now?
