Default Paragon GPT Loader - new driver for Early Adopters! Now with Windows 7 support!

Paragon starts a unique solution for using 3TB+ drives in Windows XP! Now Windows 7 support is added!
Paragon GPT Loader includes a special system driver for Windows XP and utility for initializing ultra - high capacity drives. The driver adds support for GPT (GUID Partition Table) disks, while the utility initializes modern 3TB+ drives ready for use.

Members evaluating Paragon GPT Loader, please read Reviewer's guide prior to using the driver.

We are thankful for your feedback and comments in advance.

Note, this driver version works with single internal 3TB drives only. RAIDed configurations are not supported yet.

I hope it´s planed
does it mean software raid? (windows based mirroring?)

If You use a hardware-Raid (or controller)
windows sees only one drive
is there a different for the GPT loader?

and I also hope it runs with windows 2000, too
especialy windows 2000 server could be more interesseting as windows XP

There are problems with RAIDed 3TB configurations mainly because different RAID controllers provide different information about drives to our driver. We are working over it currently so in next coming versions of GPT Loader this functionality will be implemented.

Can you create an Optional module that includes the flexibility to restore files, applications and an operating system to dissimilar hardware as well as providing support for Dynamic Disks and Microsoft® WindowsPreinstallation Environments (WinPE).

I was so excited, I have a 7.5TB RAID and the card manufacture didn't mention XP's not able to use a RAID that large, then I read about software on GiveAwayoftheDay, then bummed to hear it has to be a single 3TB drive!

I hope you quickly add the ability to add large RAIDs soon!! I'd love to get that system off Win7 - I hate the file sharing setup for 7 to use XP!!!!
Either that or move to a server OS.

No problem to install and use this software. But raid support would be appreciated...

I am eager to use this with a hardware LSI raid controller when it finally supports RAID.

Besides that, can this driver allow XP to read from a NTFS partition that was already created on the drive? Or will installing this necessitate the loss of all the data already on the drive?

Thumbs up Raid

on a Intel ich10R i see my Raid-0 Volumes and can create a GPT partition but have there some troubles - so on some level Raid is implemented and should be a matter of time
