I have never had the need to resize a Windows ntfs System Partition.
Question: 1. Possible situation: After defragementation, the Windows built-in defragmenter graphics shows a cluster of unfragmented files near the right side of the defragmenter graphics. If I significantly decrease the size of the System Partition, is this cluster of unfragmented files lost in the partition resizing process? Thanks in Advance.

No - you won't be able to shrink the partition to a size where that can occur, assuming that files aren't relocated.

TheKid7,
Say your 100 GB partition had 10 GB of files at the "left" end of the partition and 1 GB of files at the "right" end of the partition. A good partitioning app could resize this partition to 11 GB. Of course you wouldn't do this, but it is possible. No loss of files. |
