Some important info from the PDF:

-Based on Firefox
-No Plugins
-Runs with limited permissions
-Panda Safe Browser is Linux based VM and the browser runs within that
-Since its a VM its also isolated from your real system

In my eyes it is absolutely useless, it is junk itself.

Installing and downloading multiple gigabytes to get a sandboxed browser? How over the top can it be.

Yeah, it needs at least 2GB of RAM to run it. My desktop could handle that but my old laptop just about copes with Vista Home Premium!

It looks like an interesting idea, but I think it is a bit of overkill.

doesnt seem like an interesting idea to me, seems like they wanted to match the competition so they made a last ditch effort to fit it into this years product version by throwing in a half done sandbox which is basically like just downloading a VM software urself and running it.

I just downloaded it. Its 3Mbs. Not sure where you got Gbs from. Maybe because it requires Virtual Box and you dont have that?

Yeah, not that interesting that I'd want to download it though!

I completely agree with you. Even free sandboxie can do better than PSB in terms of performance and same security.

Well the concept itself is quite innovative in the fight against malware. I would not say it is useless at all. However, I could say it is a work in progress and improvements are surely coming. Keep it up Panda.

Thanks.
