I have IE8, Firefox and Google Chrome. Getting ready to add Opera soon to see if it's any more tolerable than before. It seems as soon as I get to like a browser I find a news article about new tracking ware or ad ware the browser has been in bed with the whole time. I guess it has more to do with the tracking cookies and stats these days. But I really don't think a person can get on the internet with any feeling of privacy anymore.
I'm not sure how many people purchase items on the internet or how much online ads play a part in offline advertising (yes that's possible). But I don't think it's played that big a roll for me. I would probably pay a decent annual subscription rate just to have the trackers leave me alone.

Desktop: Chrome (default), Iron, Firefox, SeaMonkey, Safari, IE 8 (usually only used in 64 bit mode).
Laptop: Even more! I like to have Chrome & Firefox on any computer. Iron & SeaMonkey are back-ups just in case & I like to use them for certain things. Safari has some features I like (reader). I've used Iron for a long time, well before I ever used Chrome. Unfortunately it is still not stable enough to be my default. This last version is one of the best they have done though. Sometimes I just like variety. It's worth checking out other browsers & giving them a spin occasionally. Just to see. ![]()

Lately only Chrome. I've just updated it to version 7: very fast indeed.

Firefox 3.6.11 with Adblock Plus and NoScript is my main browser, and IE is the second (used mostly only for downloading Windows updates manually).

Opera. IE only for manual security updates. I would like if Konqueror worked in Win.

I thought Konqueror could run on Windows, I was always thinking of trying it out one day. It is developed by volunteers and can run on most Unix-like operating systems and on Windows systems, too.

3 browsers that I usually have installed on my system:
IE8 since it comes with Windows. Hardly use it...not due to security concerns (I can harden it) but more of missing *features* that are important for me. Firefox - default browser. Optimized and minimal add-ons. Currently on the V4 beta release and MineField. Optional secondary browser - sometimes installed, sometimes portable version: Google Chrome/Iron - using similar (fork) add-ons to those of Firefox. I can't get myself to using Opera much yet no matter how many times I've attempted to. It's a very nice browser, filled with built-in features but it's missing certain touches that's fitted with my personal needs/wants. And it doesn't play nice with all sites...at least that's how it is for me. I'll have another go at it when V11 is released. I used to toy around with other non-mainstream browsers frequently in the past but grew tired of the habit.
