Has already been scanned through Virus Total and gets the green light - all clean.

If you're in a virtual session, but want to discard everything but a couple of documents/files, just save these files to a USB stick.

Just curious... in the Settings tab, are most of you using the default settings or something else?

How important is it to check the Boot Sector protection button?

Some programs and "Malware" will make changes there so it provides extra security. I use it!

What's great about this free offer - entitlement to free support and upgrades:thumb:

    Hope that sticks!

Well, just had the chance to test out Time Freeze with a nasty Fake AV. The VirusTotal results were very discouraging (very few detections) and only offered further proof that Virtualization and not AV solutions must be your first and most important line of defense.

Kudos to Antivir and Threatfire who had to be disabled to run this malware. After install, the usual scan began finding numerous infections including troubling references to "microsoft office being a child porn proxy" Huh!

After the scan, the popups continued about infections and most programs were prevented from opening by the malware. Even CCleaner

There were no options to uninstall either. I restarted my machine and everything was gone and back to normal.

Two thumbs up :thumb: :thumb: for Time Freeze :D

I had the other way round though. AV is the 1st line of defense and virtualization 2nd. o_O

So if I log in as LUA, system protection is off?
Can I not just protect the full C: drive under LUA

Is it the same under Returnil?
