Question Bios Password three Failure entries with third accompanied by happy face?

Hi,
I think the bios is infected by a virus because i keep getting
failed password entries and on the third attempt i get a happy face
with the standard regection X. Ive scanned the system with td3 and allso
Mc Afee Virus Scanner but every thing appears clear. Ive got wormguard installed and allso process guard.Has anybody had this same problem and what did you do to get rid of it appart from resetting and just living with the inconvenience of reconfiguring the bios every time.I appreciate any input

Hi Richard, Bios cannot be cleaned easily by software after the the OS is loaded.
Probably the easiest way would be to re-blow the BIOS. Go to your motherboard manufacturers site and download the latest BIOS then follow the instructions for updating.
