Default suggestion : prevx portable

Hi,

what do you think if prevx team make a "prevx portable" ?
me i have an usbkey with a lot portables programs (video, browser...)
but there aren't good software protection for computer in key.

I think if the free prevx can be make portable (only scan for exemple but not setup in system and no requier right administrator) was an good idea ?

and you, what you think ?

Not requiring administrator rights is the issue for any AV trying to be portable - you will need to be running as administrator (or at least "Run as" administrator) so that it can detect rootkits/other threats.

Protection on the system would require the installation of protection drivers so being from the USB key would be a bit of a misleading deployment option.

You can, of course, just put it on the USB key, run it, let it scan, and then uninstall it Prevx does not require a reboot to uninstall and the whole process should only take a couple minutes from install/scan/uninstall
