Dr.Web Cureit opens IE7 on update.

I use DrWeb Cureit as a ondemand scanner.
I normally use the last launch.exe,to update rather
than going to the DrWeb site each time.
Updateing from the Launch.exe has always
opened a window in my default browser,Firefox3.
Now After a reformat of Windows,I find the DrWeb launch.exe
now tries to open a Window in IE7,that I normaly keep block by my Firewall
other than to download windows updates.
Does anyone know if this is a new thing with Dr.Web Cureit,
or just a result of something changed during reformat.
Firefox3 is set a running as default.
