ID Blaster settings problem

Hello,

I have ID-Blaster set to start at start-up and to run at 30 second intervals.

The boxes for 'Internet Explorer ID' and 'WMP7 + WMP8 Unique ID' keep getting unchecked on their own. How and why does this happen?

Also, is this an outdated program? What about current versions of WMP? and if WMP is outdated I'm sure IE is outdated too - maybe even the other ID's too?
