I'm having a similar problem use TI 8 and a Dell XPS 400. Using the box install CD, TI starts loading then the lights go out on my USB mouse/keyboard and the TI interface comes onscreen. Fine, except w/o a mouse or keyboard I can't do much but stare at the screen and weep. Nor will it recognize my USB/Firewre external HD, telling me no HD found, USB or Firewire.
I've also tried re-connecting the mouse and the keyboard after the TI interface loads w/o any success. Any ideas why TI is killing USB functionality while its loading? -best |

Hello kweimer,
Thank you for using Acronis True Image The issue can be related to the lack of drivers. Acronis True Image 8.0 is considered to be an outdated version of Acronis True Image. Please let me know the license number via PM, I will provide you with an ISO file to create another Acronis Booting Rescue Media. If this doesn't help, you should upgrade your license to the current version. I may recommend you to install a trial version in order to make sure that the program runs flawless for you. Thank you. -- Oleg Lee

Thanks to all who responded to this issue, which, I am happy to say, has been resolved by upgrading to TI 9 which recognized my TI 8 .tib files and restored them perfectly.
Thanks again to all... |
