Default NOD32 - POP3 mail scanner

Below's info on ver. of NOD32 that I have; my query is on NOD's pop mail scanner... which sometimes works.
As scanner takes mail check settings from - in this case, Outlook Express 5 - I wonder if something's askew with OE5 that is the heart of the trouble.

NOD's scanner wishes to listen to ports 10500, 10501 and 10502 for mail (for 3 accounts I would check).
Those ports (in OE5) are now listed as 110 under the Advanced tab, for incoming mail - though I sometimes find the #s listed above - 10500, 10501 and 10502 - and so, I change them back to 110 which I think is correct.
And in OE5, I will sometimes find "localhost" where the actual pop3 # should be listed.

Not sure if above is clearly stated, tho' I hope so; any ideas on where the problem may lie?

Many thanks for any help, SG1 (Pat)

Version:*********1.655 (20040306)
