Default "An Error occurred while downloading updates"

Hi

I recently downloaded NOD32 v3.0 (32bit) and installed it. But I can't update the virus definitions. Whenever I do so, it gives me the error message, "An error occurred while dowloading updates." I have a wireless router. So, I put a direct connection from the modem to the router and that didn't work. I disabled the Windows XP firewall and then tried with the direct connection and I get the same error. I downloaded Windows Install cleaner and removed everything to with Symantc, norton and mcafee and tried but I still get the same error. My internet is fine, I have no proxy server. I don't know what to do.

I filled in a customer help request for 4 days and haven't got a response yet. I'm hoping someone here can help.

Pls. help me!!
