Windows Firewall & Other Firewalls

I have windows Vista 32 bit running on my laptop. Also I'm using AVIRA free antivirus. I wanna know whether the Windows firewall is good enough for internet security or should I use another firewall?

I would like a firewall which won't slowdown my laptop.

It's good enough for inbound SPI... That's about it. If you need outbound firewall and HIPS features, look somewhere else.

ruzfactor, first, welcome to Wilders! Perhaps you might want to check out the free version of Vista Firewall Control, before thinking about purchasing it, and also search this forum for threads regarding its use by other members.

Thanx. I got Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro with 3 months license. I'm using it in my PC. Is it good? Does it take too much resource? I also using avira personal in my PC.

It's an excellent FW. Also, not really taking too much resources from my testing.
