Default Paragon HD manager and Drive backup express

I have both of copies of these and was wondering whats the difference between Paragon Hard Disk Manager 8.0's backup regimen as opposed to Drive Backup 9 Express. Are they just the same? HD Manager has incremental backup as one of it's features, if I made a backup using Drive Backup Express, can I add increments to that using HD manager's incremental backup?
