Ping tool timeout every 5th ping

I downloaded the ping tool (I am running Vista), and every 5th ping, I get a timeout. Any website I tried. With a normal tracert, no timeout at all.

We tried to reproduced the problem you mentioned, but seems everything goes well, also have not gotten timeout.

As you mentioned, it depends on the setting of timeout. Maybe timeout of tracert is longger than Ping.

Please catch screenshots when the issue happens to help us to evaluate. For example, get one image when Ping Tool shows timeout, and the other one is the situation of using tracter at the same time. That will be appreciate.
