Can anyone tell me please:- If you have a Full Backup and say 6 Differentials . Can you restore using the Full Backup, ignoring the differentials,or are these needed to restore? Thanks J

Not sure, but I would think this would be possible as if you delete the differentials, then the full backup won't know it has any to play with.

You can restore the full backup independent of the differentials.

Thank you very much. That is what I wanted to know. I presume that the same will apply with Full Backups and Incrementals. Thanks again J |
