Default Image of server 2003 (ATI Ent V9)

I searched for this topic first....

I'm trying to make a DVD image (or cd if it will fit) of my server 2003.
Is this possible with ATI Ent V9?

I have backed up to another drive and resotred, but I prefer to place an image on a cd. It appears that I can make an ISO and then burn it, but is there a way to burn directly to cd?

If I'm using the server, and imaging only the server, do I need to install the server or is that just for backing up remote computers?

I read the "readme first" file, but don't want to assume this applies to server 2003.

Hello c_robertson,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Remote Server Backup Software.

Please notice that Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server supports direct writing to rewritable CD/DVD media, as noted in chapter 1.5.4 "Supported storage media" of the respective User's Guide. Please also notice that you can find detailed description of Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server components in the same User's Guide.

Thank you.

Yes it will support direct writing, but only for creating a restore disk, (bootable disk for recover of a pc) but not the entire image. Apparently it will only make an ISO of the imaged drive and THEN you write it to a CD/DVD. Is this correct? The "Readme before posting" file also indicates this doesn't it?

I'm shooting for something similar to NAV Ghost (which won't work on this os)

Hello c_robertson,

Please see this FAQ entry regarding the ability of Acronis True Image to back up directly to DVD media.

Thank you.
