Sygate Pro - Outdated?

    My OS is Windows XP Pro SP3 and I've used Sygate Personal Firewall Pro for years. Does Sygate still 'cut the mustard' in 2011... or is it ready for the knackers yard?

    it hasn't been updated or developed for a long long time. My rule is not to use obsolete software but if you are content i doubt you will encounter some malware that will take advantage of your FW

    you might want to take a look at this

    Google FortKnox Firewall

    used Sygate myself for several years
    this seems to be a updated version
