TI OEM 8 - upgradable ?

I purchased an external hard drive and received acronis TI OEM 8 as part of the software package.

Is the OEM version upgradable ? In other words can I puchase TI 10 upgrade for $29.99 from acronis and everything work correctly ?

You expected a response in less than 2 hours? You can buy TI from Newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E1681528708SF as a download or boxed version http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16832200003 for a couple of dollars more.

 

hmmm, thanks for links. But I think I will wait and see what the official answer is on wether I can use the upgrade route, and also see how long it takes them to reply.

 

It could be quite awhile. If you see a post from "Acronis Support" click on the user name and send them a PM.

Please note that in case you are using Personal or OEM version of Acronis True Image 8.0, which is not limited in time and needs a serial number to be installed, then you can upgrade it to the full version. Please visit Acronis online store to purchase the upgrade.

Please also note that you will need both serial numbers to install the Acronis True Image 10.0 Home Upgrade: the serial number for Acronis True Image 8.0 OEM edition and the serial number for Acronis True Image 10.0 Home Upgrade, which you will receive after purchase.
