I have just tried to install NOD32 V2.7 on windows Server 2003.

All seemed to be going well. I created the .xml file from the configuration editor and saved it in the mirror folder.

I then started the RAC and went to create a new package. When I got to the point to select the configuration file I received an error message saying that "the file is not in the correct format" or words to that effect.

Has anybody come across this problem before.

Please send the xml file to support @ eset.com along with a link to this thread.

Hi I am using the latest verion of NOD32 download from the ESET website.

I deleted the Xml file and tried it again and then it seemed to be ok. The other thing was that the xml file that I created and stored in the mirror directory is always deleted by NOD32. I have had this problem on other installations as well.

What causes this because it is very annoying. Does the XML file have to be saved to the mirror folder or can it be saved in another location.

You must specify the xml file in the mirror setup. If you merely copy it there and modify update.ver, then it will apparently be overwriten.
