Is it working on win8x64 system really?
Some HIPS&AntiKeylogger dont work right on win8x64 systems,
i test it with... ;

1-Zemana keylogger test, Passed via keystroke encryption.
2-Zemana clipboard logger test, passed.
3-SS own keylogger test, passed.
4-SS own screenlogger test, passed
5-SS own clipboard logger test, passed.
6-AKLT screenshot tests, Passed
7-AKLT keylogger tests, Passed (But if you disable keystroke enryption, Getrawinputdata test failed)

64 bit and 32 bit...
SS is very powerful on x64 systems but not perfect.

Hello,

Has anyone tried the Firewall Version with another firewall resident on your system? Is the Firewall Version designed as a totally stand-alone firewall or meant to be a supplement to your already resident firewall? I was wondering if there were any conflicts or not...

 

i think it is standalone. There is no reason for use 2 firewall.
SS firewall (v1.5) in top 5 and v2 more powerful then previous version. Score probably better now.

 

I had errors the other day and the guys at SpyShelter are looking into it (see attached). I will be getting a test build from them on Monday to see if it clears up the problem.


Update: The SpyShelter guys sent me a new build that cleared up my problems. Evidently I had originally gotten an early release with errors. It now works great!

Today, i tested Spyshelter 8.1 with malware which has SSL log ability.

AntiNetworkSpy Module is working very nice on Win8x64.

 

Today, i search google code for keylogger samples. (https://code.google.com/)
i found 88 result.
But there are too many unfinished project, linux keylogger, and non-working (on win8x64) samples.
i investigate all of them and i found 5 working samples (on Win8x64) and i tested them with Spyshelter.

After the first test, i search sourceforge for keylogger samples. (http://sourceforge.net/)
i found 28 result.
But same situation is here, dead project, unfinished project, non-working samples...


i investigate all of them and i found only 1 working samples (on Win8x64) and i tested it with Spyshelter.

Was hopeful of a newer document for Firewall.
No biggie, may trial this anyway in a virtual environment to get a feel.

 

Today, I tested SS with some commerical Monitoring app.

About Test;

1-I tested Spyshelter Premium 8.2 on Win8x64. I used virtualbox.
2-I accept autorun, registry access popup
3"-Registering of service or driver is dangerous action and service/driver are able to do various dangerous system task", so i block it.
But also i did re-test with accepting driver registering. So SS can block some samples (Staffcop and some others. SS alert for keylogging/screenlogging/..) and Some samples can record if you accept driver loading. (Like argos monitoring, SS doesnt alert for more action)
4-I found more samples then i test. But some samples doesnt work on Win8x64. So i cant test them. (like JuniorWatch)

I tested SS with monitoring apps long time ago (April 2010)
Result was great.
SS v3.53 vs 60 commerical keylogger and 6 leak test;

I repeat test because developers released new versions since 2010. And there are new apps on the market.
