  3. HMMMMMMM can we see what Certs were added/deleted? Call me paranoid but I like to know what CA'S are allowed/disallowed,

    On hindsight it would have been better to leave "XP" out of the thread title since I understood that this was not only for Windows XP. I apologize for that.

    I was updating my Win 7 x64 system today but wasn't offered this update, has it been pulled back?

    No, check under optional updates.

    Yes, I know it is optional and I did install it on my other machine a couple of days ago but today when I checked for updates on an another machine it wasn't offered to me o_O

    Check your installed updates on the machine or machines where the optional update is not being offered. There is a possibility the patch has already been applied. Alternatively, search what best applies to your situation.

    I downloaded the update via the Update Catalog and ran the update but no GUI or anything appeared also I couldn't find the update under installed updates, is this alright ?

    I can see a whole lot of new certificates under Trusted Root Certificate Authorities hence I guess all is well and thanks for helping me out :)

    You might want to bookmark Microsoft Answers for issues with MS KB installations, etc. Tell them I sent you :thumb:
