If you continue to have problem's it's best to Submit a Support Ticket https://www.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp?

reboot was required. it said i did not have to reboot but after a reboot lock is there and system shows in my account now. so it seems all is good.

how could i add another lic key to the same account or will it do it automatically?? say this key is for 3. then i want to add another 3pc lic key it asked for the key from when i first registered it, so then how would i add the second key to show in the same account? oh and i actually like the green lock myself i dont think its that hard to notice.

Inside My Webroot account you can add more Keys when your ready just click on your email address in the top right and click on Manage Keycodes. ;)

nice must have missed it i only briefly looked at it. seems everything is good now. for some reason after a version update on this system a reboot is required for webroot to work correctly.

To add another PC just use the code you have & the PC will be added to the account, you can edit the name in the account - To avoid confusion if you have several PC's of similar name at the side of the name in My Webroot is 'edit' is small letters & you can call a PC what you want to.

If you want to remove a PC just delete it in my Webroot & then you can add a different PC, but if you remove a PC then re-install WSA on the same PC you need to contact support to get the PC back in My Webroot. (I did that once thinking I needed to remove it after a issue with a bolt of lightening & imaging back a month) :)

Sorry for cross posting, I'm not the fastest typist!

I know it doesn't ask you but I always do to set the new updated files.

I think green is the wrong choice of colour against the green Webroot icon. The green padlock is the same whether you're on HTTP or HTTPS; if you want to distinguish between the two to prevent confusion, have them both different colours, but not green! In other words, one colour for HTTP, and one for HTTPS sites.

Thank you Tony, nice to know I'm not the only one thinking that way.
If you are going to have only one colour lock across the board then there is no point in having one at all in my opinion.

But the level of protection, as far as I understand, is just the same (unless you customize websites to exclude protection) so different colors make no sense.

finally got it all working. joe one issue i see is i just had a issue with firefox so i fully uninstalled it and then did a reinstall and copy back my bookmarks password file etc but after this i could not longer get the webroot toolbar to show up at all rebooted multiple times etc. i tried to run the startup process in the start folder also. nothing worked except a reinstall of webroot yet again. now all seems fine.

but to test i did the same again removed firefox and did a full reinstall and toolbar once again would not show up for anything until after a webroot resinstall.

After installing this version(also did a reinstall to try to solve the problem), i no longer can use the right click function, neither for scan or erasing files :(

I wonder why with the last two releases (especially this one) that they did not go to the closed beta testing as it was just skipped? Maybe a lot of these problems could have been avoided on the release versions if closed beta testing had not been skipped over :( .....

Thanks - we're looking into this now and will have it fixed in the next build.

I can confirm that we will have all of these issues fixed in the next build, which will be out in a shorter cycle as an automatic update.

Please let me know if you have any questions or find anything else in the meantime!

It doesn't matter to me that the color of the lock icon is different, but it does matter that it is the same color as the webroot icon, because it makes it harder to see, and depending on your screen size and resolution it can be quite tiny, making it even harder.

:thumb: Thanks for integrating this suggestion.
