Is it possible to block certain files or specific programs from being scanned?

You can uncheck "Automatic upload" under Settings. In a next build we'll add the feature to exclude folders.

Internet Explorer has a cookie database file (index.dat). HitmanPro enumerates that database file using APIs but the cookies are already gone. Due to this discrepancy, a bug is triggered in the Internet Explorer API that prevents the cookie entry to be deleted from the database. The discrepancy may have been caused by a different cleanup tool.

You may want to try to delete the cookies from Internet Explorer (Delete Cookies).

    erik,
I've sent 2 e-mails to you with 2 files in question the first one about a week and a half ago the second a few days ago and have heard nothing back. One is no longer flaged as bad but one still is by HMP.
Files in question belong to SpyReveal.

HitmanPro does not clean the BIOS. But it is able to detect based BIOS infections like Mebromi.

    Hope this helps.

I've been looking at this 2 weeks ago but was not totally confident the file was non-malicious. Mainly because there is no version information in the file and I could not download any trial of SpyReveal. You have to buy it, there is no way to test it o_O

In addition the file had a low reputation in our cloud: only 2 people with the file in question. Currently its a bit better so I white listed the file.

Sorry for the delay but this was a rather peculiar file.

Thank you for checking it out, and for whitelisting the file.
FYI, a trial can be downloaded from here.........
    http://antikeyloggers.com/downloads
It's a limited trial, as in it will only scan 75% of your system to see if there are any compatibility problems.
    Again thank you. :)

Mr. Loman there are some mistakes in the italian translation adv.
    For example this tense:
"Contiene caratteristiche di un identificato rischio per la sicurezza" as you can see here
    http://i45.tinypic.com/izvxms.jpg
it means absolutly nothing for an italian user, can only generate a missunderstanding, it seems a Google translation.
    The correct tense is :
    Ha caratteristiche identificate come rischiose

I can check your italian translation if you want, I think I need 5 minutes no more. Is simply a pleasure for me that use your great HP since long time ago

My English can't be the best but I'm italian so I think I know my language, so let me know if you need some help

    Hello Erik,

    I have one suggestion.

Is there possible to make Hitman Pro to scan
also sub-directories when i want to scan some specific directory.

For example there is folder tree with file inside: Documents/application/application.exe

If i try to make context scan (right click) for folder Documents then it shows in result that 0 file scanned. When i try to scan folder "application" the same way only then it pick up "application.exe" inside folder. Is there possible to make this that when i make right click scan for folder "Documents" then it will pick up also subdirectories executable files.

Hope you understand what i try to say and suggest.

PS. i just tried right click scan with version 3.6.0 build 156

    Regards,
    Kardo
