Steps to avoid LizaMoon infection?

When you go to a site that has the LizaMoon malware and the first pop up appears, is it true that you are not yet infected at that time?

And if it is true that you are not yet infected, what is the best way to get out of there without getting infected? Can you just cancel out the pop up dialogs? I've not seen this addressed in any of the reading I've found.

NEVER click any where on the pop up.

I would hold down the "Alt" key and press repeatedly on the "F4" key (located on top row of keyboard) until you get the Windows shutdown screen. Then press the "Esc" key to remove the Windows shutdown screen (or just click on "Cancel".).

Repeatedly pressing the "F4" key while holding down the "Alt" key closes each "active Window".
