    Hello all,
We've now made the new test version available for public beta, which includes an additional minor self protection improvement relevant only on XP. If you are not using Windows XP, you do not need to apply this update.

You can download it from http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?grab=edgebeta for 32bit/64bit new installations or from http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?grab=edgebeta64 for a manual upgrade on a 64bit installation.

Please let me know if you have any questions! :)

Thanks for the update. Can this be installed over v3.05.187 or does it require a fresh uninstall/install?

    Hi PrevxHelp,
    thank you
I use Windows 7 ultimate x86 and PREVX RC build 187 just autoupdated to Build 188.
For some seconds I got two PREVX icons in my system tray.

    Cheers

That's "normal" in some cases - the update has to first clear down the active product installation and it could potentially leave behind one of the tray icons if it didn't close down fast enough. However, the tray icon will disappear once you put your mouse over it so it shouldn't be a problem long term :)

When is .189 going final? It has been beta for quite a while and no more responses in this topic.

... and I hope it will keep corrections/changes you did do during our remote session (RC .190) because since then no problems with the translate client, Realtek mixer, embedded wmv videos etc. :thumb:

There haven't been a lot of changes ;) We currently have had very few issues reported on .187 and are waiting longer for a release.

Then maybe you should auto-update all users then ;) as i'm still waiting and on 185. And no, i don't want to manually update.

    Correct TH

And never had to wait this long for an auto-update.

That means the current build is very solid. :) I'd rather see the Prevx devs invest time in 4.0 than do minor improvements to current 3.0 which aren't death serious bug fixes.
