    Hi,

I have tried the new version of ESS 4.2 but for some reasons it seems to conflicts with Geswall when opening office documents (word, excel and powerpoint)... The document take for ever to open and that is if they open with version 4.2 (and advance heuristic disabled everywhere)!!!

I am now back with version 4.0 with same configuration than 4.2 and I have no problems :doubt:

What could be the problem with 4.2 and how can I solved ito_O

I forgot to tell that I have windows XP with SP3

    Thanks,
    Atomas31

Yes, if I disable one or the other than the problem disappear... I have seens then return with version 4.0 wich even with the advanced heuristics I don't have this issue!!! They seems to have changes something in version 4.2 that creates problems on my system :doubt:

If you are unable to get help for your issue here you may also submit a support ticket with ESET.

Merci Siljaline! (I am from Montreal too ;)

But I don't know if submitting a ticket is a good idea since I have remove version 4.2 to return to version 4.0... So, if they ask me to made some tests or send any logs, no can't do :doubt:

    Salut Hi there,
I'm sorry, I did not quite understand your details, of course, if you have reverted to a previous build to avoid the conflict, there would be no point in submitting a support ticket. At least you have the information if ever you need it for another occasion.

    Regards,
