I would like to ask if there are any other users that have a problem with Word since the installation of version 1.1.0.325 of Shadow Defender.

Since the time I had installed this version, I had several crashes of Word when trying to close documents (and in one case also when trying to open a document, if I remember correctly): Word and also the rest of the computer (mouse, keyboard etc.) several times did not react any longer and I had no other choice than manually turning off the computer.

All this happens although I am not in shadow mode and although SD does not start with Windows and moreover DefenderDaemon.exe is removed from autostart!

Possibly it has to do with the size of the Word-documents, because as far as I can remember it happened mostly with bigger documents (about 12 MB, in one case about 24 MB).

The problem appeared after installing version 1.1.0.325 of SD and it has gone again since I uninstalled it and returned to version 1.1.0.320. (See for the detailed chronology my posting in the Forum of SD: http://www.shadowdefender.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=165)

    My system:
    - Windows XP Home (SP 3)
    - Word 2002 (as part of Office XP)

Unfortunately this is what happens with software being updated for newer OSs and programs becoming inevitably older. I have the same setup with one of my machines, and use ShadowUser Pro (very similar to SD) which hasn't been updated for 5 years, but working perfectly with Office XP.

I also have a machine with XP Pro SP3 and Office 2003 working well with the latest SD. If I were you, I'd stay with version 320.

    Thank you for your answers.
So at the moment it seems that other users do not have (or did not detect until know) the problem.

Yes, that is exactly what I do. With version 320 all works fine.

I have had 3 BSOD attributable to SD driver in the two weeks since installing .325. Am running Win 7 32-bit, OA full (latest) and Avira Pro (first 9, now 10).
    Reverting back to .320
