i have installed Nod32 and now when I boot, the system just sits there and won't finish the load into Windows. I never had this problem in the past. I had to reboot and uninstall Nod32 in safe mode to be able to use my system again.

i have cleaned all registry entries, all folders, after uninstalling NOD v.4.i'm not a newbie, but problem persist.

    please,help me.thanx

I would make sure those programs have been completely uninstalled so as to prevent possible driver conflicts at startup. >> http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN146

Check your startup folder for programs that may slow or conflict with NOD.

I would also check my disk for errors if I hadn't done so in a while.

Looks like a job for ESET. Is this a trial version you are using?

Does disabling automatic start of real-time protection make a difference on the next boot?

If so, create a complete memory dump per the instructions here and convey it to customer care.

I had the same problem with Win XP PRO SP3, the solution was install v3 product.

ESS/EAV v4 don't work well on some "older" computers...
