Is it a Automatic Update or does it have to be Updated manually?

Update didn't work for me in Server Standard 2008 x64, had to uninstall and reinstall the previous version.

You don't have to uninstall your previous version. Just install the new one over it ;)

Noticed two things with this update.
    1. OPfw+Avira Prem: Webcontrol in OP disabled. Don't think this was the case with previous v.
    2. Opfw+Kav : The bat fails with mail fetching. That was not the case with previous v. (with this setup I reversed to OP 2509)
    ---------------
reinstalled acc to point 2, obviously some install problem... Point 2 not to concider.

I just noticed that they are STILL having the lifetime license offer, which was already extended for 1 month, up to Jan 30.

No, i think they are very well aware of it. Previously, they had indicated the time limit. Now they only say "limited offer" (what they mean is anyone's guess).

Two things happen IMHO. Either they are getting really many new customers or they are really desperate for some income, so the 1 month extension period wasn't enough to attract enough income, so they decided to prolong it indefinitely.

Also if you click the "buy it" you are forwarded to "Shareit" for payment, where it also mentions "lifetime license". So, this can't be a forgotten banner at the website.

The lifetime license is only available for OFP (not for OSS), and it's more expensive than last month ;)

That's true!I hadn't noticed that! I think i bought it at 39,99 dollars (plus vat) and now it's 59,99. And they STILL insist on charging the same amount in euros too. 59,99 euros, + 19% VAT = 71,34 euros. All euro-buyers should once more select dollars in payment.

I suspect that something is going on concerning OSS and the AV-engine...Let´s see if that's the case...

The new version seems to work except it will not save anything I add in the exclusions box.

Today I receive a beta-testing announcement from Outpost. Can't even find the beta forum, as well as the changelog.
Downloading right now. If you find it interesting you can register for the beta here:
    Code:

Not yet. Thanks for the tip :)

It would be better if the forum address was mentionned in the announcement email (as for me I've found it by googling)

    Btw, great product :D

What appears to have happened here is that you were given a copy of a non-public beta that supports Win7 in response to your bug report but you were not enrolled in the beta program. So this copy is temporary and will expire. If you want to be part of the beta program you'll have to apply normally.
