When I boot Vista, F11 appears to press if I want to load Acronis. But it appears for like 5 seconds.

Can I change it to 2 seconds?

    Does this help?
The following refers to Acronis TI 9 installed on a hard drive.

Please do the following in order to start Acronis Startup Recovery Manager with predefined parameters such as "usbmouse=off", "acpi=off noapic", etc. :

1.) Add the corresponding parameter to the "kernel kernel.dat quiet" line in F11.cfg file located in \Program Files\Acronis\TrueImage

Please see the example of the correctly edited F11.cfg file contents:
    ----------------------------------
    [start]
    echo Starting Acronis True Image...
    initrd ramdisk.dat /s
    kernel kernel.dat quiet usbmouse=off
    quiet on
    mbrcrcs on
    vga vesa

    [continue]
    sysboot /active

    [bootmgr]
    default continue
    delay 30
    ---------------------------------

Please note that there is no need to make any changes in F11.cfg other than adding the corresponding parameter to the "kernel kernel.dat quiet" line (changes are marked by blue color in the example).

2.) Activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager using Activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager wizard accessible via the main program window.

Please note that you need to active Acronis Startup Recovery Manager even if it is already activated. In other words, Acronis Startup Recovery Manager re-activation is required to accept the changes made to the F11.cfg file.

    Hello truthseeker,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please notice that jmk94903 is correct. The "delay" parameter in the F11.cfg file specifies time frame for the F11 press (in tenths of seconds, i.e. 2 seconds is "delay 20").

Please notice that the file is actually located in \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\TrueImageHome folder.

    Thank you.
