Windows Live Messenger will not sign in because the Key Ports step has a yellow excelmention mark next to it saying the firewall is blocking it. How can i configure the port so it is allowed to connect.o_O

It is known fact that when v3's web scanner is set to forward LV's traffic to ekrn , it cannot sign in .

You need to open the GUI -> Web access protection -> Web browser and make sure that WLV has a red X next to it . Confirm with OK and try again

I have no trouble signing in when WLM is going through the http scanner in NOD32v3. Is this specific to ESS?

Strange that so many are having problems with this. I have not had one issue connecting. I just setup a rule for it and voila!
