That depends on if you trust the antivirus software you are using. I trust what I use, so I would use said file after a cleaning.

Prevx works just fine on its own. You mentioned you were behind a router so between that and Prevx, you'll be fine, IMO.

I look at it as prevention protection- if nothing can get in, then there is no worry of anything getting out. :)
Been running it for 4 days now with no slowdowns or anything. Very light and quiet program. Is it using Vipre's engine?
As I recall, TF used to be a pretty good product. It's ashame the company behind it won't stand behind its own product.

That is a good question for the vendor and I'd love to know the answer. But, wouldn't a hardware based keylogger mean that it is already installed...
