I've been using WAU Manager. It was last updated March 19, 2024. So far I like it better than Windows Update MiniTool.

I have used it for years. During those years, whenever there has been a change in Windows that creates a problem for Wumt, the developer has updated it. Since 2022 i have not had any problem with it so my thought about that is that he therefore has not updated it. Or maybe abandoned it

But, as said, it works great, even on W11 Home latest version.

    Without a problem?

I have tried it, i think, 4 times during about 3 years, and sooner or later it lets updates slips through. My thought on that is that the developer is not in the Ms preview channel and such and therefore is not one step before the actual W.update releases. So when they are released, the program is not functioning in a compatible way. So even though i like(d) it, i abandoned it.

Funny you should say that. I know a lot of people who have said the same thing about WUMT. I myself have also experienced it. Since M$ borked updating in Windows 10 Home, it's hard to find anything that does the job perfectly.

Maybe i should have mentioned that i use it together with Sordums - Windows update blocker. Combined they work perfectly.

Ahh, okay. I might give that a try. Looks like it allows a quick way to disable/enable the Windows Update Service. That would definitely prevent anything from slipping through. :thumb:

I use it to both install and hide updates.
