"please check out the new improved Simple User / Mini prompt, and let me know what you think. You can test it under Settings / UITweaks / Display simple user and mini prompts."

I can't see it. Nothing different as far as I can tell.

It looks like you have Mini Prompts disabled.

Duh! See what happens when one plays around on their computer in the early hours of the morning, when I should be sleeping. ....I rarely get more than 4 to 5 of broken hours of sleep a night. Insomnia!!!!

BTW, I have just enabled Mini Prompts, but still nothing.

I know the feeling. Quality sleep is just a distant memory for me.
I'm not currently using VS/CL, but doesn't that refer to the prompt to allow new programs?

I always run the latest beta/release versions as they churn out, i.e. two versions in just as many days. :) Maybe, I am not understanding something.

This is new/different from Cyberlock. I had just booted my laptop and my VPN was disconnected and I couldn't connect out. I got this message:

    Cyberlock_analyzing prompt_01.JPG

Checking CyberLock logs awhile later, and I could see it had been 'Auto Blocked', eventually.

It's from the system's Temp Folder so that's normal for CyberLock to be suspicious of the temp file!

I know it is normal to block, but I hadn't see that message format before. Dan must be changing things. :)

You must be using this "Here is CyberLock 7.77! If you get a chance, please check out the new improved Simple User / Mini prompt, and let me know what you think." I haven't tried it yet.

I think it is still a work in progress, because as I said earlier in this thread, i.e. on Monday, I haven't seen it, yet.

I know all about it, and I have it enabled. But, I still don't know what that switch when enabled, how it is supposed to show and look like. I guess I will be enlightened eventually.

I would contact Dan, but the last few times that I have done so by email, I feel as I have been left feeling a little dumb.

    A slight hiccup at boot:

So, manually restarted Cyberlock and got it going:

    Running OK

I'm also using Cyberlock Pro. What Cyberlock actually recommends, is that after installing it, you should start with "Relaxed" security posture. After week or two, switch to moderate or aggressive security posture.
I did it that way, and after a week, i switched to moderate security posture. Working good so far.

No need to do that anymore just install and run. I have mine set to Smart Aggressive mode.

Yeah, if you click security posture exclamation mark, it says something like "relaxed and and user-friendly security posture mode and typically should be selected in the first couple of weeks while Cybelock is building its tine whiltelist, to limit unnecessary blocks as much as possbile. After a couple of week its recommenced to switch to moderate or aggressive mode".
I used relaxed mode for a week, then switched to moderate mode. Works just fine. On my other laptop, i use OSArmor, which is very very good too. But you cant actually compare CL and OSArmor.

I tried CyberLock a few days ago, but I still don't like it. It seems to be too complex, I prefer tools like OSArmor.

That is funny...as I have tried the same and find OSArmor more complicated than Cyberlock. at least for my liking...which is why I ditched OSArmor.

Yes, it's a matter of taste. OSArmor should block most attacks out of the box. I guess same goes for CyberLock, but it has way too many options, and just the whole anti-exe concept seems more complex. I also liked EXE Radar better in the past. I also wonder why they went with the CyberLock name, when I search on Google, I find two other companies with the same name.
