Just wondering why you use Privacy Badger as well as uBo? I use uBo and have always felt that adding PB was going to be duplication.

At this point it is just my security blanket. Note though, that I only use uBO in Normal mode as an adblocker. That's why I also keep NoScript.

Fair enough, each to their own. I find that uBo in advanced mode suffices for me.

I've been chopping and changing a few lately, and I've got more installed now than ever before.
    • CanvasBlocker
    • Decentraleyes
    • Don't track me Google
    • HTTPS Everywhere
    • LastPass
    • No Resource URI Leak
    • Norton Security Toolbar (Firefox only - hidden)
    • NoScript
    • Privacy Badger (possibly redundant)
    • Pure URL
    • uBlock Origin (running in Normal Mode)
    • YouTube High Definition (new and I love it!) Turns out I don't need this after all.

I have just changed my vote from 5-10 to 1-5. I'm currently using only 3 addons:

    > Imagus
    > New Tab Override
    > uBlock Origin

With Firefox 57/58, I am down to 2. Before, it was 4. I am happy. :)

    NoScript
    Easy Youtube Video Downloader

And no plugins. But I have a sandbox where I install Flash, and run Firefox in it when I need Flash.

While I was only briefly using Firefox as my primary browser, I thought I'd list what I use.

    • AdGuard
    • Chrome Store Foxified
    • F.B Purity
    • Google Reverse Image Search
    • Honey
    • New Tab from Location Bar
    • Open Tabs Next to Current
    • Page Translator
    • Popup Blocker for Firefox
    • Select After Closing Current
    • TinEye Reverse Image Search
    • Undo Close Tab
    • Undo Closed Tabs Button

I use many of these to get similar functionality in Firefox to what I have in Chrome based browsers.

    1. uBlock Origin Lite

Just avoid some cosmetic ads,and for the bandwidth consumed.
I want to keep my second browser used,Firefox, as light as possible.

When you launch your browser, do you go make a pot of coffee while you wait for it to load? How many GB of memory does that use?

:argh:... I think @billmcct is just having some fun. Some of the extensions on the list do not even work on the latest Firefox. "NoSquint" original has not worked since FF 46-47 (circa 2016-17), it is no longer even offered as a Firefox add-on. Same with "Xclear". Also, some of these add-ons conflict with each other: For example, he has multiple bookmark management add-ons listed. They will never work simultaneously.

Sixteen currently. Most important: uBlock Origin and Violentmonkey (script manager). Two are for readability: Dark Background and Light Text, and
Tranquility Reader. Two are for blocking animations, but neither works 100%. Lib Redirect is for privacy. The rest are to restore right-clicks, etc.

Good point. Nothing wrong with having a little fun. I thought my list was getting long at half a dozen.

I also have 6 that I have installed myself. Firefox however has some built in and show up as add-ons under "Help -> More troubleshooting information -> Add-ons", so including all the ones listed there "enabled=true", I have 14 add-ons all together that run when Firefox starts.

I have 3 I installed myself for a total of 14 add-ons. I'm going to have to look into some of these others, as to how and why they are running. Good thread here.

I carry an Android phone. I'm not concerned about privacy, there is none. I was listening to some CDs last weekend. Not a device that is in any way connected to the internet. My phone later presented news about that band. Coincidence? Nah.
