yup looks like their site is down. I made my last post because I was suspicious of the company . I wanted to know how soon they would get back to me. now I know. and my lic is up this oct and won't be renewing. guess they went under.
wilders need to contact this company and see if it went defunked. if so they need to remove it as an official forum for wilders. my lic is up oct 3rd and I will not keep quietzone if this is true.
yup their site is down and all links in their software to support all return bad pages. could somebody here if not even a quietzone user confirm so I know it is not something I am running that is blocking their sites? thanks
Well peter you mentioned you would let us know when you knew more. I think it has been long enough and so it is safe to assume they just packed their bags and left dodge with out any notice.
I tried to "spy" Returnil on the Internet...not good and quite surprised info I found about it and its domain - only one "own" page I found http://www.returnil.jp/discontinued and its content after translation (Google) its below...one phraze is interesting "of the intention of に よ り, 2016 9 at the end of を も っ て, disadvantages of social" and it for me means most likely political reasons. - two domain tracker tell that domain returnilvirtualsystem.com are currently registered in USA - Burlington (MA) https://www.whois.com/whois/returnilvirtualsystem.com https://who.is/whois/returnilvirtualsystem.com - but two others that I foun shows Kiev in Ukraine and company called Labs Zoral Ltd http://weblisting.freetemplatespot.com/returnilvirtualsystem.com http://whois.domaintools.com/returnilvirtualsystem.com Zoral Labs have few activities but one is very interesting - security So ... maybe it is only my speculation but I think that we have similar situation as earlier with Tony and Shadow Defender ... developer suddenly disappears, his property (code, application, domain) is sold ... but nobody knows where in fact.
Even though I thought this was a great program and have moved on to shadow defender. even if another company bought it, I will never ever use their product again since they didn't have the decencies to let anyone know and just disappeared. it appears some of this forums mods know things but are not sharing. I thought it was so good I was willing to pay the yearly subscription for it. this program has been off my computer now for some time. thanks for the info anyway. their forum is just wasting space here but the mods said they just don't remove software makers forums even when they aren't a valid company any longer. I have been here long enough to see some either removed or archived. eset for one.
