Thanks, my skimming missed the "they only support ESR" related comments. Would this be the appropriate supported product matrix?

I don't have any experience with that product, yet your links seem appropriate to me.

Neither do I obviously. So I don't know what the security/privacy consequences are of Mozilla circumventing the DLL injection. Although Firefox ESR may be what is normally used in a Websense/Forcepoint context, I wonder if this could lead to a case where someone using a non-ESR version of Firefox not only runs without some type of protection they desire but also without warning.

Anyway, we've generated some additional discussion that might be seen. Perhaps someone with connections to Websense/Forcepoint will take the ball where it needs to go.

That decision might come to bite them. I guess we'll have to wait and see. :ninja:

Well, it was for a while, then the 'not responding' came back. It's only momentarily, and not often, but it's no accident I'm typing this in SeaMonkey.

I've just 'refreshed' Firefox. It seems very fast and snappy with no problems.

I don't recall the View Pocket List option in this dropdown menu before I refreshed the entire browser. It (or its absence) may have been responsible in some way for the slight borking I experienced earlier.

Look at the below article under Update to eliminate it:

Deploy a hotfix to Firefox 47 (and lower) users to prevent them from updating if they have WebSense intalled
    https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1298404

It appears they will be deploying a system addon that will:
    1. Detect the presence/absence of WebSense by checking known file paths.
    2. Modify app.update.url so that the presence/absence of WebSense will be reported to Mozilla update servers which will in turn adjust what they make available to users.

I just right clicked where the new section was and chose to hide the newly added bookmarks.
