that can break at any time, there is a long long history of this if you look in the SBIE forums. In pidgin for example, copy/paste breaks in the IM window...program will crash. It's been broken for a long time. The last I heard from them, the dev said he didn't use Windows and couldn't help..so that's that.

It all depends on how each program interacts with the clipboard. It's impossible to catch every variable. It can also break for unrelated reasons.

I think anything can break at any time. There are a few functions that I always check after updating Sandboxie to make sure they continue to work properly. Copy paste is not one of them but since you have experienced that issue in the past, it behooves you to test it whenever you update Sandboxie. I would be doing the same.

Can you guys run the latest version of the Brave browser sandboxed? It does install on my system, but gets terminated when being launched.

Hi Rasheed. I tested Brave, runs well for me under Sandboxie in W7 32 bits. I installed the browser in Shadow mode and ran it sandboxed. It forces fine also. No issue.

Perhaps another security program is terminating Brave as it opens up sandboxed. Try disabling or uninstalling other security programs.

It has been a long while since Invincea bought SBIE from Tzuk. Do we still have to read about acquiring or SBIE to have a normal thread where the owning company's name is not mentioned?

A 25% off Back to school sale has been posted at the Sandboxie forum. You can use this coupon at checkout (SE1-8V4-A3E).

Sandboxie works great for all kind of everyday situations. School? plugin other students USB flash drives in your computer is a terrible idea but I guess, if you are in school, you share information and have to do it.

By using a licensed copy of Sandboxie, you can set it up so when you plug your friends flash drive (probably about half are infected), the USB folder opens up automatically using a sandboxed version of Windows explorer. It doesn't matter what it is, if something runs out of the flash drive, it will run under Sandboxies supervision and your computer will remain intact. :)

Only because it was something unrelated to Vivaldi..but seen in Canary. Vivaldi is still not one we directly support, but since they use Chrome engine, we see things pop up. The 4 we officially support is Chrome, FF, IE and, Opera. Everything else is YMMV.

OK, but I assume if you support Chrome and Opera, it's likely that Vivaldi will also be running stable without any problems? I mean they all use the same browser engine. And why mention Vivaldi if it's not officially supported, I don't get it?

Exactly my same thoughts. There's no consistency in his statement.
