i have 2 drives in my system and want to know if its possible to install windows 10 without the 100 meg hidden partition it creates, or at least keep the partition(s) on a single drive and NOT spread over both drives

    Garry,

Sure. Create a primary NTFS partition for Win10 on HD0. Not HD1. Set the partition Active. Boot the Win10 DVD and do a Custom install into this partition.

thanks for the reply, but its been my experience in the past starting with win7 or maybe earlier that the install usually creates a hidden partition of about 100 meg

Not with what I've described. The partition has to be Active. This is essential as the booting files are installed to the Active partition on HD0.
