I'm needing to do a migration from an older Windows 7 system to a new Dell Precision 3620 Windows 7. I have built the Recovery Media on CD and am booting in UEFI mode on the new Dell. A WINPE version of the RM hangs at "Starting Windows" - so, it does seem to "boot" but doesn't finish the install / run. A LINUX version of the RM starts with a DriveCopy 15 blue window. A smaller black window opens on top of it. Text says Loading Linux and, on the second line it hangs at "Loading initrd". All CD activity stops. Eventually the black window closes and there is an image of a hard drive with colorful lines scanning across the image as if it's being scanned or read or written.... and that's all folks! So, I'm unable to run any of these CDs successfully on this Dell system. Other disks do similar things.
