    Hi,

If I was to split the browser security plugins into 2 categories, I would split them into
    ad blockers and request blockers..

Ad Blockers like ABP, Adblock, Adguard, Ghostery, Disconnect and Ublock0* use lists of regular expressions. These lists block elements that exist as a regex inside them when a site loads.

Request blockers like Umatrix, Request Policy, No Script, Policeman are having categories which you can block. No script does it per domain.

    The dangers while browsing are:
    Pixel tracking
    Cookie Tracking
    Malvertising
    Fingerprinting

If we want to avoid the first 3 it is not enough to use a request blocker? In what way an ad blocker helps in parallel with a request blocker.

PS: If you have more things to add please share your opinions/experience

NoScript does more than block requests; it blocks Javascript and Java. I restrict third-party cookies to visited in Firefox, and delete all cookies at exit. I see ABP as complementary, albeit sometimes redundant.
