Here's another report on the use of Facebook analytics using a 3rd-party firm to run surveys to inform political campaigns. http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...ed-cruz-president-campaign-facebook-user-data The survey appeared to be run via Mechanical Turk, and the people - who got $1 for their troubles, had to hand over their FB profile.... But it also profiled their friends, rather obviously, without permission. A FB user now has an average of 340 friends....
