Still cannot reproduce. Clicking the user notification shows the bigger prompt. What OS do you use?

Do you see the same behavior for any other command lines? or other prompts?

    Hi Vlad,
But as you can see from my original post, email and signature I run Win 7 64 bit.

I have half a gigabyte of error reports now re VS 3 - all related to the faulting path system32\ntdll.dll

OK Vlad, due to the huge number of Windows error and application fault reports I was getting re VS 3, I uninstalled it fully from my PC this morning including all the programme data files logs etc.
I ran my machine for 3 or 4 hours and all was fine, with several reboots - during which time there wasn't any fault or error reports. I then did a full clean install of VS 3.01 beta. after which all the error reports and application faults returned as before !
I uninstalled VS 3.01 again and then reinstalled the trusty Voodooshield ver 2.86 - wonderful ! - no more error reports or application faults, running as smooth as silk.

    Regards
    Gordon

    Hello Gordon.
I succeeded to reproduce it. Seems like it happens only on Windows 7 and the service crashed if the Voodooshield.exe was killed. Currently I'm looking for the root cause and I hope to get it fixed to the next release

    Thanks Vlad !
I'm really glad you could reproduce the fault as I was beginning to think it was just me - AND I didn't want to get left behind with the developement of VS. I'll stay with 2.86 for now and hopefully when you sort out a fix I will reinstall V3.0.

    Many thanks
    Gordon

Looking at Event Viewer, found same repeated error, so also glad Vlad found it.

Thanks Paulderdash, I'm not happy you have the same problem too, although a relief I'm not alone with this - let's hope Vlad (and Dan) can get it sorted so we can move on - but I suppose it's why we are beta testers after all.

    Regards
    Gordon

I'm still looking for a way to fix it. It doesn't seem to easy
