    Yes, "C:\Program Files (x86)\WordWeb\wwnotray.exe" -shownow
What do you mean by adding the exe manually? Do you want me to set the location of the Shortcut to "C:\Program Files (x86)\WordWeb\wweb32.exe"? Will that help?
Edit: Changed the location. SUMO still looking at wwnotray.exe.

I was getting this error even in Windows 7. Then I installed Windows 10 from scratch, downloaded Wordweb freshly from its homepage. Please note that I never installed WordWeb in tray (default choice), rather I pinned it in Taskbar, and launch on-demand.

Is there any way you can make installation of common processes (flash, java, etc) automatic after pressing get button ? Or at least downloading the setup file automatically ?

Are you sure that is what you want?
If you want that, then, for security reasons, one must be absolutely sure that the download link is the one you want (for instance, Adobe's direct download link for Flash Player) and not a link for the file hosted on some untrusted site (like Softonic, for instance).
That is not what SUMo offers, up to now.
SUMo is merely an application that shows for which of your applications updates are available, and leaves it to the user to get the right installer from the right download address.
I do not know if it is feasible for Kyle to offer what you are asking for.
Secunia does it, with it's Secunia PSI (N.B. for security updates only), and there is Patch My PC and Ninite, but those are all quite different from SUMo.
I don't know if Kyle can (and wants to) offer with SUMo what you are asking and what those other applications offer.

If it was up to me, I would say, please don't.
I like SUMo for what it it, and for not being like Secunia PSI, or Patch My PC, or Ninite.
If anyone wants something like those, one can use one of those.

Of course I was referring to the normal channels. Why would any sane person download something from softonic ? I love how people object to optional features because they don't want them, and tell people to move away from a software they don't own / have a share. Mine was a suggestion and Kyle seems against it so there's nothing I can do.

P.S. I have used all of what you mentioned, sumo does the job for me. I don't like to use several software to just to automate updating of few apps.

Of course, Softonic is a rather extreme example of where one does not want to download from.
But it's not always so clear what the right download location should be.
Some companies refer to CNET Download.com, or yes even Softonic for download and hide their own direct download link. Which download link should Kyle then offer through SUMo? Perhaps Kyle can find out what the direct download link is, but perhaps he cannot. We could make it a community task, like the link proposal option that is already there, but again, what in case of software where it's not clear, or a matter of choice what the best download link is.
Even with Adobe Flash Player and Oracle Java it is not so clear what the best download link should be. Does one want the online installation, or one of the offline installers, and if so, which one?
    Terrible.
And if something goes wrong, Kyle would get the blame.
Because of all that, I think it would not be wise to offer automatic downloads through SUMo.

Yes, I know, I don't like that either. I'm very sorry, I should have posted a more balanced reply, earlier on.
I was in a hurry to do other stuff, but that can never be an excuse for posting a sloppy reply. My sincere apologies.
I hope you find this reply more balanced.

    Hi Kyle,
The 4.1.5 issue is still the same in 4.1.6.
In the bug tracker ticket I see that you mentioned "Target Version => 4.3".
I guess that means the issue is planned to be fixed in 4.3?
I guess you won't need my feedback on the same issue concerning versions before 4.3?

Yes, planned to be investigated and fixed in v4.3 because :
    - plenty of small bugs to be fixed in 4.1.x last releases (4.1.7 and maybe 4.1.
    - 4.2 is to introduce user interface imporvement + auto update for portable version
    - 4.3 for other significant issues.

The problem is not to add it, or wrong, it is the problem. You can't see any .jar files via GUI, I only have the ability to see .exe, dll, activex, system elements and not loaded (which only shows .exe files). So I can't add anything or see it via the 'add' dialog.

    Hello,

Works perfectly fine on my system ...

Looks like something is blocking your DNS.

Do you have a firewall that might block this link ?
    MBAM ?
    Custom hosts file ?

Does the problem affects our backup server too : http://www.kc-softwares.com/sumo/start ? If working, you can grab SUMo from http://www.kc-softwares.com/files/sumo_lite.exe

May come from ClamAV. FP report here : https://bugzilla.clamav.net/show_bug.cgi?id=11409

    Hi,

Just tried sending an e-mail to your @kcsoftwares.com address and it bounced back. Here's the content:

Well, I am now able to download the manual update. The automatic update seems to be downloading and upon finishing the download a dialog box pops up stating "Failed".
Also, your home page seems to be displaying some generic hoster info in French, not your usual home page.
