    I am now on OSX El Capitan and running NTFS for Mac 12. My current activation is under a set of product and serial key. It is fully activated

    The above serial key is not eligible for free upgrade to NTFS for Mac 14 for El Capitan.

    I owned another set of newer license for NTFS for Mac 12 which is eligible for free upgrade to version 14.

    Both two two licenses have been registered under my account at Paragon under my email address.

    What I want to do is to change the current product key and serial key used on my copy of NTFS for Mac to a new one that is eligible for free upgrade to version 14

    I have tried to uninstall, then reboot, reinstall, and reboot, but the current set of key remain in NTFS for Mac preference pane. The key are greyed out and there is no way I can change the keys used for activation

    How do I remove the existing product key and serial key used on my Mac, and change it to a new set of product key and serial key that is shown above (which is eligible for free upgrade to version 14)

    Can you please instruct me step by step to uninstall, remove the product and serial key completely, so I can proceed to reinstall and reactivate using a sew set of serial key and product key so that I will be eligible for free upgrade to version 14

    Help and advise please

    When I check for update, version 14 is now available, but because my current serial and product key is not eligible for free upgrade, there is no download and update button.

    I therefore, need to change my serial and product key to be qualified for free upgrade to version 14

    Help please, how to erase the old key and change to a new one that I already have.

    Don't have an answer, the v14 'update' has been a PTIA. Goes like this:

    Paragon NTFS 14 consistently bricks by boot disk. Please advise how to completely uninstall. I suspect there are system NTFS access preferences that need to be re-set & particularly would like to know: is there a terminal command line that can remove this?

    To date: Paragon NTFS 14 will not authorise on Yosemite 10.01.5 (see earlier support request and emails); the boot drive is now running in a new mac pro tower, but the authorisation issues were the same on the first tower.

    1) Using the Paragon NTFS 14 un-installer bricks the boot drive after re-start
    2) downgrading to Paragon NTFS v12 bricks the drive after two restarts
    3) manually removing all of the components as advised on various fora, bricks the drive after re-start (prefs, Application support. kexts etc.)

    To date, I have been re-imaging the boot drive from a Carbon Copy Cloner image to get the disk launching again. However: this is a professional production machine and includes many licenses for plug-ins, utilities and applications - many of which lose their licensing and require contacting the veneer for additional licence etc and starting all over again.

    The far, Paragon NTFS has cost me three days and nights of lost work. I want to completely remove Paragon NTFS without bricking the drive. I also require a full refund for Paragon NTFS 14 which in this case clearly acts as malware.

    AND

    Am having dreadful problems with NTFS v14 & Paragon's licensing system, sorry I bought the thing. Have written to support several times now, via the v14 purchase email, with no answer Am running on Yosemite as primary boot (with another on a El Cap disk):

    1) v.14 will nor register, claiming it doesn't know my user account details;
    2) conversely, logged into my Paragon user account where I can see all prior registrations for vs 10, 11 & 12, but cannot register v14 and says the s.no is invalid.
    3) tried to uninstall v.14, then on re-boot the drive won't start (hangs, with mac stop sign);
    4) re-build drive form Carbon Copy Cloner image (three times now), uninstall the v14 preference pane, re-install v12 which does register correctly, and on re-start, the boot drive hangs again (that's a 480GB OWC Mercury Accelsior).

    Not only will version v14 not register against the s.no, it will not see the boot camp disk because it somehow corrupts the boot drive & so the process goes around in circles. Never had any of these issues with vs 10-12, but would seem that Paragon NTFS is far less benign to the mac boot disk than I would have imagined.

    Would seem that the only next choice would be to re-format and clean install a new system & apps from scratch & get rid of Paragon NTFS altogether; find another NTFS solution. Such a time waste of life.
