    Hi,

Care to explain the sentence in red?

Let's say I have an unused license from the promotion, can I keep & use it when v3.0 is released?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

This means if you had a v1 license, you can upgrade using the BDJ v2 license. The key only works for v2 of AX64.

However, when v3 is released (and it's not going to be for quite a few months) you can use your v2 licenses to obtain the v3 license at a significant discount.

Thanks we've replied to you. BDJ key generator is having some issues. Apologies about that.

    Hi Zfactor,

Thanks for your comments. V3 not coming out anytime soon. The Win 10 update is just an update, not a major release so it'll be free for you.

I've also send you a mail to test out a Win 10 compatible version. Do shoot through to info@ax64.com any issues you do have along with logs.

    Thanks!

    Waj

    Hey guys,

Froggie, yes, it appears they extended again (to our surprise).

I've contacted BDJ to see what's up and they confirmed this will be the final day of the sale.

BDJ Sale can be found here:

    BDJ AX64 Sale

    Cheers,

    Waj

Any news as to when AX64 will work with tablets? I understand that due to a difference in architecture AX64 currently will not work with tablets but I think that you are missing a significant opportunity/market given that AX64's lightness will be perfect for tablet users.

An update on this would be much appreciated.

    Regards, Baldrick

Are you sure? Date says 11/13/14. Unless "Tuesday" means that date?

Oh yes I see it now. So Mr. Isso still is in business. Very glad to know that, believe him to be a swell fellow.

Guys Maybe I can help with AX64 TM:

The problem doesn't seem to be in making BU's but in restoring them.

I had installed Win7 on a laptop, I used AX64 V1 (Hate Version 2) to BU her Laptop, to D: BU WIN7 and a few months later my wife wanted to have Win10.

Well I am running Win10 on my PC and had used DriverBooster to update some drivers and it worked without even a hiccup. (usually am wary of these, but my PC is much faster now.

But when I tried the same thing on my wife's Dell laptop I had some driver problems and I could not use sysprep on the laptop because Win10 had gone over the top of Win7.

Well When I tried to use the BU of Win7 made by AX64, it gave me a 0900 error.

So I installed Win 7 using the Win7 disk, and did a clean install, took 15 minutes, then I installed AX64, then when I opened AX64 it asks what drive I want to BU I chose C: Then it as where to save, I chose D:BU Win 7.

Now I close AX64 and reopen it and choose view BU's recover files or entire system, and click OK and sure enough it restored my BU of Windows 7

    Hope this helps.. Good luck.

    Iiiit's Sunday.........

This kind of think (little progress, mostly delays and promises when you can get them that its on the verge of a fix/version being out) is really steering me toward Macrium 6--which in trial works fast and flawlessly. I just hate spending money on another backup program--when I've already invested in one--but I'm about done. There is little reason to keep this up. Good people or not, some companies that can't get it done do need to go out of business and move on.

    Hi Baldrick.

Thanks for often reminding us about the tablet market. We do think this is something we want to take on, but the priority at the moment is to finalize testing of the Win 10 beta, native restore - then we'll be good to look at the Tablet situation. Not to mention the next major release.

    Thanks!

    Waj

Sure! This app has always intrigued me and I continue to test it in my environment(s). I'll report back after some decent tests (I've been away for a while).

    Hi there,

A gentlemen labelled "Anonymous" has sent a just sent a third mail asking for support via our support desk. We are reaching out to him as we very much want to resolve his issues.

We'd very much like to help this user, but if he doesn't:

    1. Leave an e-mail we can reply to or
    2. Any form of contact information

Then we cannot help him with our answer.

If this is you, please e-mail us at info@ax64.com with a contact e-mail attached to the message. Or, insert a valid e-mail via the support desk function, else it'll be impossible to help you.

    Best regards,

    Waj

Waj........Just so I and maybe others are clear: Remove my older licensed version 2 via/Control Panel, reboot, install 2.0.0.665, reboot and all should be well. The I reason I ask is I have had problems(2)in the past updating v.2. I receive message 'Beta Has Expired' or something similar. Have requested help, but my email must have slipped through a crack. OS: Win7/64. Please respond.
    Thank you

    Rainwalker,

Build 665 has no expiry. Glad it works for you.

Thanks and glad we got through to you in the end. :)

Waj......Nice to hear 665 has no expiry. You misunderstood. I was asking about installation and wanting to know if there was anything else I should know prior to installing as I am uncomfortable due to two unsuccessful previous tries, as mentioned. This was version 2 downloaded from your site. At this time I hesitate to install 665 when a much earlier v. 2 is working rather well. Not 100%, but close to. Please comment.
    Thank you
