So I've updated my 5k iMac to 10.11 El Capitan and have installed (and activated) NTFS v14.0.332 (free, courtesy of Paragon Software - thank you). But now I am unable to write to any NTFS drives and NTFS filesystem is no longer listed as an option in Disk Utility anymore.
What gives? Does anyone else have this problem?

Murat, thanks, that was the first thing I tried. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and it still doesn't work. Did you have to reinstall more than once?
I've submitted a report to Paragon ticket 4480690.

    Bingo!
De-install, reboot, after re-install / reboot the driver was disabled but program still activated. Clicked on the option to enable and restart and now OK. I see BOOTCAMP (windows partition ) and my veracrypt ones as well.

Ok, so I managed to get it "partially" working by uninstalling, deleting any traces of files related to Paragon NTFS, releasing the license, reinstall and reactivate. Now I am able to write to my NTFS volumes. However, there is still no option to format a drive with NTFS in Disk Utility (El Capitan), NTFS is not listed amongst OSX Extended, FAT and ExFAT. I am afraid to reinstall it again for fear of breaking it once again.
In any case, something is not right here, I (we) shouldn't have to go through this hassle to get it working.
    Paragon - please do something.

Same here. Installed paragon NTFS driver 14.0.382 after paying for upgrade from 12 to 14. Then installed 10.11 over night on MacBook pro and iMac 27" - both reacting the same. When NTFS USB drive is plugged in, it is not visible on the NTFS System Preferences dashboard and it is mounted read only.

Disk utility does not help much - can unmount and mount the partition but always in read only mode.

Will try uninstall solution now before creating a support ticket.

    Not good.

Update - uninstalled and reinstalled the NTFS driver. Now it mounts NTFS volume in Read/Write mode, however it identifies it as unknown file system.

Just restarted the Disk Utility and it does not even see the partition, only the drive. Info window is very confused - it identifies the disk, but it also says - file system - unknown, writable - no, Available space - 0, free space - 0.

So best I can do is restore 10.10 and hope for the best. I can't believe how bad this looks.

Update - in my attempt to try different scenarios.

I actually installed a completely clean copy of El Capitan (from scratch) on a completely empty hard disk, and then installed and activated NTFS 14.0.332 (thinking that maybe some other drivers on my base iMac may be causing conflicts with the Paragon drivers).
So Yes, it can still write to my NTFS drives but Disk Utility still have NO option to format a drive with NTFS and I can also confirm what fotensity said above - it does not see the partition, file system is unknown, writable is no, etc.
So I then proceeded to uninstall it, downloaded a trial copy from www.paragon-software.com (which has a version of 14.0.382), installed it and it gets activated right away. Tried my tests again, same results as above - can write to the NTFS drive but Disk Utility has gone all confused.

This is really bad. I am tempted to revert back to Yosemite and go with NTFS v12 again but will give Paragon some time to respond to this significant issue.

I've taken the initiative to file a ticket. Not content to just "wait and see." I hope they respond quickly!

This is known problem which appears with next scenario:
    1) Install NTFS for MAC 14
    2) Upgrade OSX to 10.11 El Capitan
    3) NTFS drives mount only as read only (without write permissions)
In this case it is required to reinstall driver and reboot (sometimes multiple times)

Also for now it is not possible to use format\verify\repair functionality as before from disk utility. You can read more with the link below

WE ARE PLANNING TO ADD THIS FUNCTIONALITY IN A FEW WEEKS.

So, Paragon, can you please detail the proper steps we should use to properly upgrade to NTFS for Mac 14 ?

    Is the following correct then:

    1) First, upgrade to El Capitan
    2) Then, upgrade to NTFS for Mac 14

I am running NTFS for Mac 12 (I think: where can I see the version I run anyway ?). So can I then just install NTFS for Mac 14 ?
Or do I need to deinstall the previous version first and then install the new version 14 ?

    Albert
